Meet Suzy Barnett

I’ve been in real estate since 2002, and after all these years, I still love what I do. I’m the Broker/Owner of United Country | Yellowstone Real Estate Group and a UC Ranch Specialist, serving buyers and sellers throughout South-Central Montana.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with just about every type of real estate—residential homes, ranches and horse properties, land, luxury homes, commercial and investment properties, and even golf properties. No two properties and no two clients are exactly alike, and I think that’s one of the things that has kept real estate interesting for me for more than two decades.

I was born in Colorado and spent a good part of my life in Texas, where my family and I lived on a ranch. After college, I owned several different businesses, but eventually the mountains started calling me back. I returned to Colorado in 2001 and then made the move to Montana in 2014. Livingston is home now, and I can’t imagine living anywhere else. I live here on purpose.

My husband, Paul, and I are fortunate to have our two grown sons and their families close by in Livingston and Bozeman. Family is a huge part of my life, and these days that includes the fun of grandchildren and great-grandchildren! When I’m not working, I love being outside, working in my garden and greenhouse, hiking, boating and rafting. I also have a background in interior design, so there’s a pretty good chance I’m decorating, rearranging or dreaming up another project somewhere.

Community is also very important to me. I’m active in my church and have served with foundations, community organizations and boards over the years. I believe strongly in giving back to the place you call home.

Real estate has given me the opportunity to meet some wonderful people, see some incredible properties and help people through some of the biggest decisions of their lives. I take that responsibility seriously. Whether I’m representing a home, ranch, piece of land, investment or commercial property, hotel or cafe, my goal is pretty simple: work hard, know my market, tell people the truth and take good care of my clients.

Mija Hamilton Broker

Jonathan lives just outside of Livingston Montana with his wife Keisha, and their 4 children.  The love of the rural lifestyle has been ingrained in him since his childhood on the family ranch in Texas.  Jonathan loves to team rope, help his kids with their 4H projects, and pretty much anything the outdoors has to offer.  He has also been a professional firefighter/paramedic for over 22 years.  Jonathan combines his love for helping people, with his love for the mountains and Montana rural lifestyle; to help you find that perfect property!  Give him a call or drop an email anytime!

Kristin Haug Agent

Kristin Haug is a fourth-generation Montanan. She grew up on a ranch east of Livingston — an upbringing that shaped everything about how she works. Her father instilled in her both a rancher’s work ethic and a deep commitment to community. Through his own involvement in real estate, she got an early, hands-on education in the many layers of the industry. She brings that same sleeves-rolled-up approach to every transaction: every detail accounted for, no shortcuts taken. Deeply passionate about real estate and the rich history of Montana, Kristin understands that buying and selling property here isn’t just a transaction — it’s a chapter in a much bigger story.

Since earning a degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Montana, Kristin has spent several years in business strategy consulting, partnering closely with clients to solve complex business challenges. That background gives her an edge in real estate: she can read a deal, anticipate obstacles, and bring people together toward a shared goal. Kristin specializes in residential, multi-family, commercial, raw land development, and ranch properties. 

When she’s not working on your behalf, you’ll find her out in it — she recently summited Granite Peak, Montana’s highest peak, and makes an annual trek to Pine Creek Lake. She also loves hunting, fishing, playing pickleball, or being out on the golf course.
